Abstract
As the United States Food and Nutrition Board gears up to revise the Recommended Dietary Allowances, one of their most fundamental considerations will be whether to lower the current recommendations for energy intake for infants and young children. The data on which it will base its decision come from studies using the relatively new doubly labeled water technique.Keywords
