Abstract
The possible arrangements of radium in the vagina for the treatment of cancer of the cervix are limited by the size and shape of the vault. This is true whether room is wanted to push applicators as far laterally as possible to irradiate the parametria, or to allow the insertion of a special applicator with heavy metal screenage to direct beams laterally from a central radium source. Keywords
