Abstract
In order to get a proper pressure transmission substance for the clamped type high pressure bomb, physical properties of several liquids, such as petroleum ether, kerosene, dehydrate transformer oil, a mixture of kerosene and dehydrate transformer oil, were examined in details at 77°K. It was found that all liquids above mentioned solidify on cooling but the pressure release accompanied with solidification was the lowest in the case of dehydrate transformer oil. Keywords
