Abstract
Differential thermal analysis (DTA) curves are discussed using transfer function. If the DTA curve is described by the function of time, the corresponding heat production in a sample can be expressed by a function of time. This transformation is also performed numerically. On application of this method to the decomposition of calcium oxalate, our results are in good agreement with those obtained thermogravimetrically by Freeman and Carroll.
