Abstract
Experiments on 10-Gbaud polarization-division-multiplexed DQPSK, DBPSK and OOK show that time interleaving return-to-zero signals in two polarizations can significantly reduce nonlinear polarization scattering in polarization-division-multiplexed WDM systems and increase the system tolerance to inter-channel nonlinearities. Keywords
