Abstract
The preparation of 2-azido-(R)-N6-p-hydroxyphenyl-isopropyladenosine (R-AHPIA) (1) starting from 2, 6-dichloro-9-(2, 3, 5 -tri-O-acetyl-β-D-ribofuranosyl) purine (2) is described. This new adenosine analogue exhibits patent agonist activity on A1 adenosine receptors and could be suitable for photoaffinity labeling studies on the same receptor subtype. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
