Abstract
Resistance to a number of organophorphorus insecticides and the carbamate propoxur has been detected in a field population of Culex quinquefasciatus Say from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Cross resistance studies indicate that the same mechanism(s) may produce resistance to the full range of these compounds. Keywords
