Abstract
A network model of ventricular function consisting of a source of pressure with a series internal resistance that is coupled to a load resistance is presented. It is used as an analog of left ventricular (LV) function during the ejection phase of the cardiac cycle in order to quantitate the interaction of ventricle and load. Keywords
