Dielectric and pyroelectric properties of (CH3NH3)3Sb2Br9

Abstract
In this paper the results of dielectric and pyroelectric measurements in (CH3NH3)3Sb2Br9 single crystal—a compound which undergoes two phase transitions at 168 K and at 131 K—are presented. Pyroelectric measurements evidenced that the crystal becomes polar below 168 K. Low-frequency dielectric measurements showed that the low temperature phase transition is accompanied by relaxational dipolar movement. Two models of the observed phase transitions are proposed.
