Acetylene reduction by coral skeletons

Abstract
Acetylene reduction was measured in coral tissues, coral skeletons, and reef sediments. Light‐stimulated acetylene reduction activity was associated with the skeleton rather than coral tissues or surface macroalgae. Activity in fine sediments was little affected by light.
