Abstract
This paper is concerned with System Properties of a class of systems described by functional differential equations of the delay-type. Some results on controlability are presented for a very general class. For linear time invariant delay-systems the above results are put in a more concrete form using spectral decompositions. In this framework, conditions for state and output stabilizability are derived. These conditions constitute the main result of the paper. Detailed proofs and more extensive comments may be found in [1] [2].Keywords
