Abstract
The clinical history and surgical treatment of the following congenital anomalies are discussed-scalp defect, encephalocele and myelomeningocele, teratoma and teratoid, and diplomyelia. Congenital defects of the neuroaxis in infants and children without gross neurological disturbances are often amenable to operative procedures, although appearing hopeless at first. Keywords
