Abstract
Insecticides were sprayed on dairy animals in varying amounts and on different parts of the animal. DDT was superior to other insecticides in knock-down and residual control. One or 2 quarts of insecticide sprayed all over the animal gave equal control. Fly-free period diminished when insecticide was applied only to the under side of an animal. Keywords
