Abstract
These unicellular microorganisms were isolated from fragments of marine plants which were placed on a solid medium consisting of sea water, 0.9% agar, 10% beef serum, 200 units of penicillin per ml and 300 [mu]g of streptomycin per ml. Pure cultures were subcultured monthly and maintained on this medium, less the antibiotics, for 6 years. Keywords
