Abstract
The intersection of two sequence faults perpendicular to each other was observed by lattice images in transmission electron microscopy. Structural models near the intersections were obtained on the assumption that the atoms are arranged in a similar manner to the regular σ-phase structure even in the faulted region. Two kinds of characteristic arrangements have been confirmed at the intersections. One corresponds to the Zr4Al3 structure and the other, the Cr3Si structure. Keywords
