Abstract
A framework that offers a rich appreciation of the client's needs is that of change theory. Planned change includes unfreezing from the present situation, changing, and re freezing into the revised situation. Educators should be aware of the types of resistance to change as well as the strategies used to effect change. Working collaboratively with the client is the suggested approach. Keywords
