Tibiofibular Cross-Peg Grafting

Abstract
Follow-up studies after the tibiofibular cross-peg-grafting procedure in eighteen patients showed that it is a useful operation in the treatment of tibial non-union complicated by active or latent infection, extensive adherent scarring precluding direct tibial bone-grafting, or both. Amputation had been considered in several patients in this series before this operation was performed.
