Abstract
The physical optics method is used to determine the scattering of a plane wave by a perfectly conducting sheet having sinusoidal corrugations. The only approximation concerns the current distribution on the sheet and the scattered field then appears as a spectrum of plane waves whose amplitudes are given by a simple integral expression. Keywords
