Abstract
Some observations suggest that, contrary to Taylor and Woodhouse's assumption, a strong relationship exists between the Taylor–Woodhouse and Münsterberg distortion illusions. An attempt is made to show that each of the major explanations put forward to account for the occurrence of the Münsterberg effect suits the Taylor–Woodhouse one as well. Keywords
