$π^{0} π^{0}$ Mass Spectrum and ${δ_{0}}^{0}$ Below 1 GeV

Abstract

We have measured the

{δ_{0}}^{0}

phase shifts from

π^{+} π^{-}

elastic scattering and compared the four possible solutions with our

π^{0} π^{0}

mass spectrum. Only one solution, characterized by a very gradual increase of the phase shifts to 90°, compares favorably.
