Smoking and Wrinkling

Abstract
To the Editor.— The editorial by Davis and Koh1 underscores a phenomenon that has been largely ignored by health educators, including physicians, for too long. The tobacco companies have recognized that most new smokers begin their habit in their teens or earlier and have designed their advertising accordingly. We have included the smoking-wrinkle association in our school health classes and believe it has been successful enough to justify billboard advertising.
