Abstract
The accumulation of rat plasminogen in the medium of primary monolayer cultures of adult parenchymal hepatocytes was detected with a quantitative immunological assay. These primary cultures synthetisized and secreted both circulating isozymic forms of plasminogen at rates sufficient to account for the majority of the in vivo plasminogen turnover. Keywords
