Abstract
The diagnostic potential of 201Tl in cerebral metastases was studied. Patients (25) with 1 or several metastases were investigated with 2 tracers, 201Tl and sodium pertechnetate (99Tcm). With 201Tl, all the cases gave a positive result within 10 min of injection. In 88%, the definition was better; and in 5 cases (20%) small metastases which were invisible with 99Tcm could be demonstrated with 201Tl. This radiotracer seems to promise greater diagnostic precision with an examination time of only 30 min. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
