Abstract
For controllable and observable linear multivariable systems, the set of transmission zeros is characterised in terms of the elements of ker [A-λI, B]. This characterisation greatly facilitates the determination of repeated transmission zeros or transmission zeros which coincide with poles of the transfer function matrix G(λ), and is universally applicable regardless of the rank of CB.Keywords
