Abstract
Scattered radiation doses to eyes, thyroid and gonads of infants and children undergoing EMI head scans were measured with thermoluminescent dosimeters. An average skin dose of 1.3 rad/scan was measured. Results were reported relative to incident skin dose. There was no somatic or genetic hazard due to scattered radiation during an EMI head scan. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
