Abstract
IN a previous report, attention was called to the occurrence of attacks of severe substernal and precordial pain in radiculitis of the dorsal spine.1 In this communication, the clinical and roentgenologic findings are analyzed in a group of 43 patients with this condition. Although it has been established that pain in the shoulder girdle and anterior portion of the chest are often due to postural strain and hypertrophic arthritis of the spine, certain clinical aspects, such as the character and severity of the attacks, the occurrence of respiratory symptoms and the significance of parasternal tenderness, require further study and emphasis. . . .Keywords
