Abstract
Acute elevation of plasma corticosteroid levels to values greater than 50 µg/100 ml prior to and during sleep failed to suppress the nocturnal rise in plasma growth hormone levels and the percentage of sleep time spent in stages III and IV in four normal male subjects. 1 Supported by U.S.P.H.S.
