Analysis of Kraft-Mill, Sulfur-Containing Gases with GLC lonization Detectors

Abstract
The technique includes the use of two chromatographic columns in series to separate O2, N2, CO, CO2, H2O, H2S, SO2 and CH3SH. Column 1, containing Triton 45 on Chromosorb, separates H2O, H2S, SO2 and CH3SH. Column 2, packed with Molecular Sieve, separates O2, N2, CO and CO2. The conditions required to obtain adequate sensitivity and separation are discussed.
