Abstract
The vapour pressures of aqueous solutions of potassium chloride have been measured with high precision at 50 and 70°C in the concentration range 0.6–3.3 mol kg–1. Osmotic coefficients have been calculated and compared with the results of other workers at different temperatures. The osmotic coefficients have been fitted to an analytic formula and this has been used to calculate activity coefficients for potassium chloride. Keywords
