Abstract
In the past few days, we directors and managers of Beijing factories and enterprises have been watching developments in the capital with heavy hearts. We are deeply moved by the patriotic fervor of the students and shocked by the sacrifices they had to make. The students' call for elimination of corruption, promotion of reform, development of democracy, and strengthening of the country is the common wish of the nation and the shared goal of all Chinese endeavors. The people are of one heart and one mind and their wish should not be disregarded.
