Abstract
We investigate the heavy baryons which arise as solitonic excitations in a "heavy meson" chiral Lagrangian which includes the light vector particles. It is found that the effect of the light vectors may be substantial. We also present a simple derivation which clearly shows the connection to the Callan-Klebanov approach. Keywords
