Modelling Nitrate and Algal Behaviour in the River Thames

Abstract
As part of a collaborative project with Thames Water Authority a multi-reach, multi-tributary flow and quality model has been developed for the Thames River System. Nitrate and Algal models have been developed using routinely collected water authority data. The models are being used to investigate design and operational management problems within the Thames River basin.
