Abstract
Sir—In their recent article, Wormser et al. [1] addressed a very pertinent question: whether immunoblot assay is a confirmatory and independent test of ELISA in serological diagnosis of Lyme disease. The authors conclude that IgM ELISA and IgM immunoblot tests are not independent for detection of antibodies to Borrelia burgdorferi. Keywords
