Incidence of symptomatic vitamin D deficiency

Abstract
A survey of West Midlands paediatricians in 2001 identified 24 cases of symptomatic vitamin D deficiency in children less than 5 years of age. The overall incidence was 7.5 per 100 000 children per year with notable differences in incidence per ethnic group.Keywords
