Research to support health promotion in practice: a plea for increased co-operation

Abstract
Increased co-operation between researchers and practitioners will improve health promotion. This paper presents six propositions in which problems in the interaction between research and practice are diagnosed. A number of possible solutions are suggested the need for practical research, an early start to co-operation, small scale research-and-development projects and evalualion research.
