Abstract
A group of patients known to have had vesicoureteric reflux of varying severity in infancy were followed up over a period of five years. Gross vesicoureteric reflux was found to be accompanied by a high incidence of initial and progressive renal damage. Progressive renal damage was not found in infants showing moderate or slight reflux. Keywords
