Abstract
A purely geometrical representation has been developed in order to assign the Burgers vectors to the line segments of a dislocation network. A strict dualism is revealed between configurations of the dislocation lines and those of their corresponding Burgers vectors, which helps to predict modifications of the network by possible dislocation reactions. Keywords
