On Norm Kernels of Three-Cluster Systems: 3 and 16O+2 Problems

Abstract

A calculational method is presented for matrix elements of norm kernels on the harmonic oscillator basis and applied to three-cluster systems, 3α and ¹⁶ O+2α. Eigenvalues and eigenstates of the norm kernels are calculated. Spectroscopic factors are evaluated for α- and ⁸ Be-channels.
