Abstract
Only recently have attempts been made to adjust for the bias censoring can impart on economic estimates based on data obtained during a clinical trial. This article reviews a suggested approach that adopts techniques developed for adjusting for the effect of censoring on estimation of failure time. The authors show that this approach does not provide unbiased estimation and explain the reason why this is the case. Keywords
