Abstract
The validity of the smoothness postulate tested for the Ising antiferromagnet in two and three dimensions. The field dependence of the staggered susceptibility above the critical temperature is studied by means of series extrapolation, and the curvature of the phase boundary in zero field is deduced. The results are compared with those found from initial susceptibility and specific heat data. Keywords
