Abstract
We extend the generalized Hartree-Fock approximation to nucleon one-level nucleus scattering. The problems involved with the Pauli principle are in part taken into account. The effective scattering potential is of course still real. The virtue of the method is that it yields a unified approach to both the scattering and structure problems. Keywords
