Young Male Prostitutes

Abstract
The physician can become a significant person in the recognition and job rehabilitation of the young male prostitute. The investigation of the lives of 50 individuals engaged in prostitution to homosexuals in an urban area revealed patterns of behavior unlike those of other groups alienated from society. The rejection of the authors' early attempts at interviewing these youths led to the development of the skills needed to reach these young men in order to provide vocational rehabilitation and to make other efforts to meet their real need, a worthwhile existence in every aspect of their lives.
