Abstract
In a two year study at Edozhigi, Nigeria, a significant increase in the percentage of silver shoots and a significant reduction in the number of tillers/hill and panicles/hill were observed at increased plant populations. The addition of nitrogen fertilizer resulted in significant increase in pest damage, the number of tillers/hill and panicles/hill.Keywords
