Abstract
An analysis of the energy distributions of scattered particles using the theoretical approach developed by one of the authors is performed. Comparison with experiment (30 keV helium ions forward scattering by various targets) shows that the expressions derived agree reasonably well with the experimental distributions observed. Keywords
