Abstract
It is shown that the average soft tissue dose rate from HTO exposures can be estimated from 5.8 x 10-11 Cu Sv d-1, where Cu is the tritium concentration in urine in Bq kg-1. It is recommended that this dose rate be used to estimate the effective dose equivalent in routine bioassay programmes for HTO.Keywords
