Abstract
Material flow takes place in nematic liquid crystals when a d.c. electric field E is applied. Some measurements of the mean velocity as a function of E and temperature are presented for different geometric conditions of the nematic material p-methoxy-n-p-benzilidene butylaniline (MBBA).Keywords
