Abstract
Published values for velocity and absorption of high frequency sound by many tissues of man, dog, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, rat and guinea pig are pre-sented. Most measured velocities are between 1500 and 1600 m/sec. and most absorption coefficients between 0.5 and 2 db/cm/Mc. Fat ex-hibits the lowest values for both and muscle the highest. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
