Abstract
Since phosphorylated hesperidin is a powerful inhibitor of hyaluronidase, a series of expts. were tried to determine its capacity to produce sterility in female rats. It is an effective antifertility agent, whether administered intraperitoneally or orally, since conception was prevented in 44 out of a total of 54 rats. Approx. 80% of the exptl. animals became pregnant when they were remated after treatment had ceased. Keywords
