Abstract
The early promise that nuclear medicine offered to the cancer patient has been fully kept with respect to diagnosis. In the area of therapy, the results have been far less clear-cut. But a number of new and highly imaginative approaches—often involving interactions with other therapeutic modalities—may justify renewed although still cautious optimism about the future of cancer treatment. Keywords
