Abstract
An apparatus for measurement of either very small currents or very large resistances is described. Continuous measurement of resistances over a range of ten decades is possible without manual change of range. It is possible to choose a constant value of bias voltage over the unknown resistance. The apparatus has a logarithmic output for registration with a recorder. This is accomplished with the aid of standard electronic components and commercially available operational amplifiers. The instrument can be used as a resistance, current or voltage meter. Keywords
